Receiving Eucharist
Both sacrament and a sacrifice, in the Holy Eucharist Catholics recognize the true presence Christ under the appearance of bread and wine as received in Holy Communion. Central to the Catholic Mass, we receive Christ Jesus in full; body, blood, soul and divinity. St. Stephen the Martyr parish celebrates mass several times each week, and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Reception of communion is reserved for Catholics who have been properly prepared.
